Music is a huge part of my life.
Some people have science, sports, or cars as a passion, something that inspires them to move, to become entranced, to enter this state of bliss that makes them want to run through the streets and share what they hold dear for others to enjoy. Once in a while though, someone comes along who is so engrossed and passionate about this treasure that they want not only need to share it, but become a part of it. Some fail and crumble, yet the few who transcend the doldrums of failure, of fear and doubt overcome with courage; they not only become a part of that which they hold dear, but they create magic. Magic that inspires others to run through the streets and share what has been created for others to enjoy.
I love music. Music is a big part of my life since I was raised in a musical family. I am unfortunately unable to produce my own with more than a contemporary hip hop beats "majesty," but what talent I do have is to find what inspires me.
Music inspires me to feel and desire, it teaches me to love and be compassionate. Most importantly, music allows me to laser-hone my feelings onto a page or 3d canvas and into a story. This is why I feature links to music in a good amount of my work, and why, here and now, I present the music through Spotify and the else-net that has inspired me to create this exhausting, but emotionally true last rewrite of The Meta Corps.
Songs are based on both lyrical content and musical skill and how well they complement each other. This set reflects the tone that I want to achieve when people think of the story rather than it being a soundtrack like a movie.
I hope you enjoy this set of playlists.
They work for me and I hope that they will work for you.
